Intermediate & Fine Drawing | MD200 / MD150
Intermediate and Fine Wire Drawing Lines
Our intermediate and fine wire drawing lines reduce pre-drawn copper or aluminium wire to smaller diameters for wire and cable conductor production. MD200 configurations cover intermediate drawing; MD150 configurations cover fine wire drawing.
- Single- or two-wire configurations with a two-motor fast die-change system.
- MD200: horizontal or vertical two-level layouts for intermediate drawing.
- MD150: conical or individual capstan configurations for fine wire drawing.
- Compare each configuration separately for inlet diameter, finished-wire range and annealing data.

Common Questions
What is the difference between MD200 and MD150?
MD200 is listed for intermediate drawing, with horizontal or vertical two-level layouts. MD150 is listed for fine drawing, with conical or individual capstans. Both are specified for copper or aluminium wire.
Which outlet diameters are listed?
MD200 horizontal lists 1.00-2.60 mm; MD200 vertical / two-level lists 0.30-1.60 mm. Both MD150 configurations list 0.15-0.60 mm. These are separate model ranges, not one universal specification.
Are single-wire and two-wire configurations available?
Yes. Each of the four columns lists 1-2 wires and the product sheet describes a two-motor fast die-change system. Confirm the required arrangement with your drawing schedule.
How should the annealing data be used?
The sheet lists 2,000-4,000 A for MD200 and 500-1,000 A for MD150, with 60 V in all four columns. Confirm annealing applicability and process settings for your material; these are not universal operating setpoints.
